BWAO won a musem design competition last year and just had the commission contract signed recently. It's a 6000 sqm archeological musem with visitor center and landscape in a scenic area in the city of Chong Qing. The museum is sited over an excavation ground where the ruler of Ba kingdom were buried. The site is entangled with rich natural and cultural context and presents great challenge for our design.
